Danish Puff

1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 TBSP water

Cut butter into flour; add water and form into ball.  
Divide into two balls.  
Roll into two 3x12" strips.  
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

FILLING:1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
1 tsp almond etract
1 c. flour
3 eggs

Mix butter and water; bring to rolling boil.
Add extract; remove from heat.
Stir in flour, beat vigorously until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time.  Beat well.
Divide in half; spread over strips on cookie sheet.
Bake 60 minutes at 350 or until top is brown and crisp.
Drizzle with powdered sugar frosting.

Yield 12 servings.
