Carne Guisada

1 round steak cut in small cubes or (stew meat cut in smaller cubes)

Wash well in water and put in frying pan.  Put 2 TBSP of shortening in pan.  Let it on a level simmer until light brown.  Add peppers, 1 clove garlic, tomato sauce (2 TBSP) until almost dry.  

Add a small amount (1/2 c.) water.  Let simmer for 10 mins. until it almost dries up.
