Printable Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies

Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies
12 - 18 bars

Grease bottom & sides of 9" square pan.  Heat oven to 350.

1/2 c. (half 6 oz pkg) butterscotch pieces \
                                                                   >  melt in 3 qt. heavy saucepan over medium heat,
1/4 c. margarine                                       /     stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.
                                                                       Cool to lukewarm.

3/4 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. firm packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Add to butterscotch mixture in saucepan.  Mix well.

1 c. miniature marshmallows                        \
1 c. (6 oz pkg) semi-sweet chocolate pieces  >  Fold into butterscotch batter just until combined
1/4 c. chopped nuts                                        /    - about 5 strokes.

Spread in prepared pan. 
Bake 350 20 - 25 mins. - Do not overbake.  Center will be jiggly but becomes firm upon cooling.
